OTRS + CRM Implementation

I have been googling this for hours and it seems to have been mentioned on here but no one has ever given anything. What I want to do is link OTRS with a CRM program like SugarCRM (or similar). Has anyone done this before/know how to do it? Basically I want the tickets to be copied into SugarCRM automatically, with all approriate fields, and customers to be stored in the same location. I read somewhere that one guy had done it but he provided no further info. Cany anyone help? Cheers ~Chris

We're running OTRS on Linux with full AD integration including single sign-on, automatic agent creation/removal from AD, full customer integration with AD - so no customer or agent maintenance. It was a bit fiddly to get set up, but once working it's been very reliable. 'Core.Agent.CustomerSearch is undefined' problems after upgrade

Hello to all, I just ran an upgrade from 2.4.9 to 3.0.6 using the rpm method and the UPGRADING instructions included in the tar.gz file. Our environment is SUSE linux, SLES10 SP2 We are running ITSM modules (also just upgraded) at the 3.0.1 level. Aside from a few minor issues, all has gone well. My problem is that now when creating a standard phone ticket, as soon as you enter the form an error message appears. If you ask for detail it displays the following: Core.Agent.CustomerSearch is undefined (?)()@http://ip-address-here/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketPhone:1194 Ready((function (j, s) {return new (b.fn.init)(j, s);}))@http://ip-address-here/otrs-web/js/js-cache/CommonJS_790a2b98bf84cbaad053c1a834f593a9.js:581 trigger ()@http://ip-address-here/otrs-web/js/js-cache/CommonJS_790a2b98bf84cbaad053c1a834f593a9.js:37 trigger([object Event])@http://ip-address-here/otrs-web/js/js-cache/CommonJS_790a2b98bf84cbaad053c1a834f593a9.js:37 I searched the archives and found reference to someone who had rebuilt (?) the CustomerSearch java code, but I'm not comfortable with attempting that for myself. change title of a ticket

Hi Is there an easy way to change the title of a ticket. Now the title of the ticket is the subject of the mail but for finding back some tickets is a certain queue we want to change the title of the ticket (when the sender of the original ticket didn't use the correct subject). This is after the ticket is created. So not when the ticket enters the system. Regards, Luc

PostmasterFilter: Regexp not working

Hello, we are using the postmaster filter very excessively (having more than 100). Some regexp are really not failure-proof. But I thought this one (looking at subject line) is: ---8< --- (\D|^)123_Cust(\D|$)|(\D|^)123(\D).*(\D)Cust(\D|$) ---8< --- Why does this not match on ---8< --- Subject: 123: GPW Cust Lieferung /UPS hat Pal. gezogen **CUT OFF RELEVANT** ---8< --- ?! It should as per http://www.regexplanet.com/simple/index.html ... Are there some OTRS-specific limitations on Regexp?! Regards Jan Dreyer

Bricked install

Please take a look at this and tell me if there is any way to recover. I think I bricked my install. I installed the Turnkey Linux OTRS appliance. It seemed to install OK. Connecting to the admin dashboard was a pain because this system didn't follow the documentation but I got around that. My problems started when I started troubleshooting why mail wasn't arriving and opening tickets. I noticed an error about bad permissions on "/usr/share/otrs/Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAuto.pm" This turned out to be a link to /var/lib/otrs/Config/ZZZAuto.pm and the target wasn't there. I thought I would be brilliant and just touch the file and copy the permissions from /var/lib/otrs/Config/ZZZAAuto.pm Suddenly, when I clicked on the Admin icon on the webpage I got: [ <https://192.168.215.8/otrs/index.pl?> OTRS ] Error: Can't write /usr/share/otrs/Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAAuto.pm: Permission denied! CC to OTRS with attachments

Hi, When a customer sends an email to another person and Cc's OTRS to also create a ticket, attachments to that email does not appear in OTRS. Before I file a bug on this, I would like to know if this is intended behaviour? -- Lars
