OTRS + CRM Implementation

I have been googling this for hours and it seems to have been mentioned on here but no one has ever given anything. What I want to do is link OTRS with a CRM program like SugarCRM (or similar). Has anyone done this before/know how to do it? Basically I want the tickets to be copied into SugarCRM automatically, with all approriate fields, and customers to be stored in the same location. I read somewhere that one guy had done it but he provided no further info. Cany anyone help? Cheers ~Chris

We're running OTRS on Linux with full AD integration including single sign-on, automatic agent creation/removal from AD, full customer integration with AD - so no customer or agent maintenance. It was a bit fiddly to get set up, but once working it's been very reliable. Diff between PendingDate and Due date?

Calendar with half hours

Adding customer: Field 'pw' doesn't have a default value

Hi all, I'm having an issue here with an OTRS 3.0.9 installation. Trying to add a customer, gives me an error "Field 'pw' doesn't have a default value", whether or not a password has been entered in the user creation interface. The same error as the german user here, i think: http://forums.otrs.org/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=8441&p=33235 (i don't understand much german, but it looks like my error, I have also posted in the English area of the forum) Looking at the column in the DB, the NN flag is not set, so i can't really figure out why that error shows. Any others out there with an issue like this or any ideas how to resolve? Thanks -- /Sune T.

Problem while upgrading from 3.0.4 to 3.0.10

Hi, I have a problem concerning the upgrade from 3.0.4 to 3.0.10. I think I did all the differents steps described on the UPGRADING file, but I end up on a page without any css. On chromium, it indicates that my browser is too old, on chrome I got the page, I'm (apparently) connected, but no css nor js. The console of the debugging tool of chrome indicates that I have a 404 not found on the css-cache file CommonCSS, on the js-cache files ModuleJS and CommonJS, and so (I guess it induces) I have 3 uncaught type errors in index.pl, about Objects that have no method Ready. I did delete the cache, using the bin/otrs.DeleteCache.pl, so how comes? 'Core.Agent.CustomerSearch is undefined' problems after upgrade

Hello to all, I just ran an upgrade from 2.4.9 to 3.0.6 using the rpm method and the UPGRADING instructions included in the tar.gz file. Our environment is SUSE linux, SLES10 SP2 We are running ITSM modules (also just upgraded) at the 3.0.1 level. Aside from a few minor issues, all has gone well. My problem is that now when creating a standard phone ticket, as soon as you enter the form an error message appears. If you ask for detail it displays the following: Core.Agent.CustomerSearch is undefined (?)()@http://ip-address-here/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketPhone:1194 Ready((function (j, s) {return new (b.fn.init)(j, s);}))@http://ip-address-here/otrs-web/js/js-cache/CommonJS_790a2b98bf84cbaad053c1a834f593a9.js:581 trigger ()@http://ip-address-here/otrs-web/js/js-cache/CommonJS_790a2b98bf84cbaad053c1a834f593a9.js:37 trigger([object Event])@http://ip-address-here/otrs-web/js/js-cache/CommonJS_790a2b98bf84cbaad053c1a834f593a9.js:37 I searched the archives and found reference to someone who had rebuilt (?) the CustomerSearch java code, but I'm not comfortable with attempting that for myself. Display SLA field but not Service field in ticket creation interface in customer.pl

Hi, I can't configure my 3.0 system to display only the SLA drop-down menu. Is it normal? I guess it is because the available SLAs will depend on the service chosen, but if I have only one service, it is useless to display the field. Thanks, Ugo
