how to change Display Name for System Address

Hello all, Our company name changed, and now I am trying to change the Display Name on the System Address. So far to no avail. I searched through SysConfig, and cannot find it there. Where do I change it? Is it stored in the database? Thank you in advance, Coert

Verified. Instead of using SMTPTLS in sendmail settings page, I just used “sendmail”. This now works exactly as expected, which is: 1. All outgoing emails are sent to mail relay via postfix 2. All outgoing emails are logged in /var/log/mail.log 3. If mail relay is inoperable, emails queue via postfix It is still a mystery to me how the mails are being sent when SMTPTLS is in use. Either way, just using the system’s configured MTA is preferable. Outbound email queue

Hello, I am using OTRS with SMTPTLS to send all email to an outbound mail relay (postfix) and this is working perfectly. However, I am unable to locate where the logs are being stored. Also, if by some chance my outbound relay isn’t operating as expected, OTRS does not appear to be queueing the emails the way I would expect (like postfix does). What is OTRS using to send mail? Can I make it use postfix? OS is Debian. -- John

Ticket Notifications

In version 4 of OTRS we were able to use wildcards in the CustomerID field under Ticket Filter for notifications. All of our customer IDs are prefixed with a building code so we were able to use that to send out notifications to outside emails (non agents) based on specific building. In version 5 those wildcards don't seem to work anymore. It's now an explicit field. Does anyone have any suggestions for making this feature work again? Either code modification or another work around we haven't thought of would be very much appreciated. Thank you! Nick

Dear, Every 10mn we receive a mail with object and body as below. Object : OTRS Scheduler Daemon Cron: MailAccountFetch Body: Error: Unable to register the process in the database. Authentication using POST variables

All, I'm working on integrating OTRS with a 3rd party system, and I'd like to be able to pull information from OTRS into the 3rd party system for display. Is it possible to load an article from the FAQ which requires authentication (internal article), when authenticating the call using POST variables?
