Mysql settings for attachments

Hello, I want to add a standart attachment. When I click the stor button nothing happens, and there is no entry in my database. From the error_log I understand that maybe my pdf is larger than my database allows. Where can I adjust this setting ? Thanx Christoph

Mod_perl apache 2 comment

I know that earlier I sent a message stating that Apache 2 and mod_perl was working. This is only partially true. I cannot get past the login screen. However, if the user is already logged in the pages work with mod_perl (albeit slowly). It is, so far, only at the login screen where the programs just "hangs." search on state in not working

I am using OTRS 1.1.0 BETA20030330 and search on state is not working. If I chose state "closed Successful" (or any other state) I cannot find any ticket. For any other kind of search (priority, owner, queue, Ticket ) every thing is OK. It is my mistake or is a bug ? Regards, Daniel Balan

OTRS usage for EuroGames | Feature request

Hi all, After being some time on the mailinglist, I can "announce" that we use OTRS as a support tool for participant with our multi-sport-event in Munich in 2004 (http://www.eurogames.info, support(a)eurogames.info) -> for people, who just want to know where OTRS is used. On request I can also "draw" a reference information about our usage, perhaps to be used on the OTRS website. ---- Along with this I have a feature request/question: - Is there a kind of integration with an FAQ-tool? Our support people use OTRS, but they have to look for the "distributable" knowledge somewhere. This could be an faq tool, a wiki etc. The functionality should that you "go into the knowledge" from otrs, and you're easily able to link or cut/paste into the response. Is there something known or planned? Additionally I want to support the need for a solution to handle many tickets. Dispache/merge feature

Hello, in one of the mails from yesterday I read .. It's feature freeze for OTRS 1.1 .. Does this mean, the 'merge tickets'-feature will not be included in version 1.1? Can not find it in 1.1RC1. What about a 'Dispatcher' function? Every incomming mail without ticket number in the subject would be sent to a dispatcher queue without assigning a new ticket number to it. The responsible agent for this queue has to tacke care to assign it to an existing ticket (merge) or to create a new ticket. Bye Ralph

Config.pm not writable

Hi again ! Thanks for the help ! I've deleted the Apache subdirectory and then commented back some DBI lines in apache2-perl-startup.pl (if I got it correctly). Apache started, however when I try to access installer.pl it tells me that Kernel/Config.pm isn't writable and that I should set it writable for the webserver user. I've set permissions for that file to be writable for all and I still get that message that Kernel.pm isn't writable. I guess I'm missing something, could you please tell me what ? Apache/DBI means module Apache::DBI. It's different to DBI. Apache::DBI is used for establish datababase connections on process startup (httpd). (_not required to use mod_perl_).
