Adding Customer Salutation Error

Hi When I (as admin) tried to add a Customer, I didn't complete Salutation field and I got this error: Error: Need Salutation! Comment: Bug Report: Click here to report a bug! Handle: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux/Apache/Re gistry.pm Frontend Subfunction: Kernel::Modules::AdminCustomerUser::Run (v 1.2) Frontend Line: 123 Backend Subfunction: Kernel::System::CustomerUser::CustomerUserAdd (v 1.2) Backend Line: 107 Backend BackendMessage: Need Salutation! So I ask what is Salutation for? Is it implemented? Thanks.

Wrong Attachments !!! HELP !!

Hi all, Only today we have realized that ALL the attachments we send with OTRS are a "little bit" wrong. Example: An agent attach the file "c:\test\myfile.txt" from a win2k machine with explorer 6......the attach come to the destination as "c_test_myfile.txt" !!!!!! This not a good thing.....we have to send licenses files that have "mandatory" names (in that case "myfile.txt"), then, least but not last, we dont like to have our customers see the directory structure in the machine of the agent...... Is this a bug ??? Thanks Marco Cintolesi

I have installed LRH 73 with mysql mysqlserver mysqlclient9 mod_perl perl_Mysql apache perl-Date-Calc perl-MIME-Base64 perl-Digest-MD5 I installed otrs-0.5-BETA8.i386.rpm - # service httpd restart - # service mysqld start - Setup the database via "http://yourhost/otrs/installer.pl" (MySQL and Red Hat-RPMs) Then [root@helpdesk bin]# service otrs start Starting OTRS.. Checking httpd ... done. Checking MySQL ... done. Checking database connect... Use of uninitialized value in split at /usr/lib/pe rl5/5.6.1/Cwd.pm line 103. It looks Ok! done. Enable /opt/OpenTRS/bin/PostMaster.pl ... done. Checking otrs spool dir... done. Creating cronjobs (source /opt/OpenTRS/var/cron/*) ... done. -->> http://helpdesk.openware.biz/otrs/index.pl <<-- Final start of OTRS.. done [root@helpdesk bin]# what about that error?

Syntax error in Config.pm?

I'm having a problem that's almost surely pilot error, but I'm at a bit of a loss. I'm getting the error: syntax error at /usr/home/otrs/gateway/OpenTRS/bin/cgi-bin/../../Kernel/Config.pm line 539, near "$_;" That line being $Self->$_; which is in LoadSubConfig. I diffed my Config.pm against the the original v1.67 of Config.pm, and I can't see anything obvious. Any ideas?

If you would delete a user (or queue, ...) from the database, your delete the reference info. Important infos like owner or queue. Set the data record to invalid and the record is still visible (e. g. for ticket history, ...) but not activ for the application. Hi, There is not the field priority and Attachment when creating a customer new ticket. Can you add it?
