hi, Any ideas how should I get my tickets to my Caldav based calendar system ? it is possible for example in salesforce.com CRM/helpdesk - it is killer. This solution should be very helpful to peoples whois are not dedicated Servicedesk coworkers but also has another responsibilities - mainly for SMB peoples. Any ideas ? norbert [nbe222]

Failed 'long subject with parenthesis' search

Hi everybody. I think I've found a bug in the search engine: it fails if you try to search for a long subject (32+ chars) and you use parenthesis at the end. I'm trying searching for tickets with subjetct like this example as only condition: "SEARCH FOR A LONG SUBJECT WITH PARENTHESIS (ISSUE)" The search engine returns nothing (even if there are tickets with this subject) and you obtain this error in the log: [Tue Apr 6 16:30:47 2010][Error][Kernel::System::Ticket::TicketSearch][4752] You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '((LOWER(art.a_subject) LIKE LOWER ('%ISSUE%')) )(LOWER(art.a_subject) LIKE LOWER(' at line 1, SQL: 'SELECT DISTINCT st.id, st.tn, st.create_time_unix FROM ticket st, queue sq , article art WHERE sq.id = st.queue_id AND st.id = art.ticket_id AND sq.group_id IN (1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15) AND (((LOWER (art.a_subject) LIKE LOWER('%SEARCHFORALONGSUBJECTWITHPARENTHESIS%')) ((LOWER(art.a_subject) LIKE LOWER('%ISSUE%')) )(LOWER(art.a_subject) LIKE LOWER('%')) )) ORDER BY st.create_time_unix DESC LIMIT 2000' IMHO, the problem is the long subject (that probably means there are more than like comparison in the query) and parenthesis use. Hi, I've otrs installation for version Powered by OTRS 2.0.4 <http://otrs.org/>. I installed the new version 2.4 in a new server with postgres. How can i move my old otrs to the new one? is it possible to move old otrs to the new otrs version? -ekram

Hello namesake! You can link customers to services and then you can give customers permission under given queues, that way you could have separate services in separate queues. installing opennms

I have upgraded to otrs 2.4.7 on a windows server 2003 platform with mysql 5.1 I have installed calendar, faq, filemanager, masterslave, support, survey e.t.c. from online repository but when installing opennms it seems that the page times out for what ever reason I don't know is there something I am missing all the other installs work without any problem any help would be great.
