install v1 with rpm

hi, as i try to update my otrs-version BETA8 to version1 with rpm -Uhv otrs-1.0.1-01.i386.rpm i get the following message file /etc/init.d/otrs from install of otrs-1.0.1-01 conflicts with file from package otrs-7.3-0.5-BETA8 whats happen and what can i do in this case? thanks sven TSUNAMI_WATCH_REPORT ++++++++ENDE++++++++

I'm sorry. I think I mis-asked the question. How can I modify the ~/bin/mkStats.pl to generate more than one chart with specific details? If that is not possible, then I could make copies of mkStats.pl and reference each one in crontab. Then it would just be a matter of getting each variant to work. As in: ~/bin/mk_tickets_per_queue_only_Stat.pl --> outputs only the number of tickets per queue on a graph. (basically trying to limit the information on each chart). SQL Errors in CVS Version?

Hi, perhaps somebody can help me. I ve updated to the cvs version (from today). There have been some problems with the table group_user in my mysql. read and/or write as field name make errors when inserting in to the table. so I inserted them manualy. Now if I change the ro/rw value in the admin backend of otrs it is not possible to make this sql insert correctly. here is the error message: [Error][Kernel::System::Group::GroupMemberAdd][Line:87]: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'read, write, create_time, create_by, change_time, change_by) VALUES ( 2, 1, 1,' at line 1, SQL: 'INSERT INTO group_user (user_id, group_id, read, write, create_time, create_by, change_time, change_by) VALUES ( 2, 1, 1, 0, current_timestamp, 1, current_timestamp, 1)' Can somebody please help me? Retrofitting GD

I didn't have GD available when I installed OTRS, so I didn't bother with it as it was optional. I have now installed it, but I still don't get anything in the Graphs section under Stats. What do I need to do to get OTRS to use GD? Jim

PostMasterPOP3.pl, next question

I upgraded from OTRS 0.5 beta 8 to OTRS 1.0.1, including the PostgreSQL upgrade script. Windows 2k, MySQL, Apache project failure

Well, I officially give up. OTRS with Win2k and MySQL is a pipe dream. Every time I get one issue resolved, another pops up. Developers will be pleased to know none of it involves them! I found there is a problem on Windows 2k involving Apache and MySQL which will render OTRS (or any MySQL app, such as phpmyadmin) unusable and require Apache hard restarts on an almost continual basis. The problem is not OTRS related, it involves the interaction between Apache and MySQL. Essentially Apache spawns MySQL processes which go to sleep and never wake back up. This causes perl/php apps to hang waiting for data from the DB and make the interface appear to do nothing while your little IE globe spins away. The problem actually appears to be known for some time and no resolution has been produced. I'm now looking at a different server and/or porting to MsSQL or similar. Postgresql on Windows is Alpha1 and that is just unacceptable for a live system here. CT

Hello, the pending tickets will be processed by the job PendingJobs.pl. You may change the frequency of this job with crontab -e change the appropriate line for example to */5 * * * * $HOME/bin/PendingJobs.pl >> /dev/null to execute the job every 5 minutes. Hi, Thanks, the sendmail Bcc works. However, it works too good.... We get Bcc of everything, including notifications sent to users. Is there a way around this? Regards, Moshe
