What is the difference between "Tickets available" and "All tickets"??

Hello Everybody, There are two things, "Tickets available" and "All tickets". These are shown just beside the page numbers that pop up when there are many tickets in a particular queue(Top Left)... Some times they both are the same number but some times they both are unequal with "Tickets available" > "All tickets" What is the difference between "Tickets available" and "All tickets"?? GD Perl Module

Hi Everyone, Did anyone encounter a problem in installing the GD Perl Module? I'm installing OTRS on a MAC G4 running Yellow Dog Linux 4.0.1. I want to enable the Stats Graph, but without this Module I can't enable it. thanks, noel

Department Field in Customer Table

Hello - I almost have my OTRS customized to exactly the way I want it, with one exception. I would like to have a field in my add-customer screen that asks for a "department". I tried using customer groups for this but its not really what I am looking for. I wish to be able to do a SQL query that produces a report of total tickets/time per department in my organization. Has anyone done this successfully? -- Glenn Campbell

How to stop all kinds of Agent Notifications??

Hello All, I am using OTRS-2.0.2. I have not selected any "Mail Notification" stuff in my preferences page, then too I get this email notification about "Add Note" i.e. whenever somebody adds a note to a ticket, I get a email Notification. I want to stop all email Notification getting out to agents.. Which file do I need to change to stop all agent notifications?? Hi, 'OTRS Notification Master' can be changed through the Sysconfig framework. For FQDN, I had to make changes in $OTRS/Kernel/Config.pm ... search for '$Self->{'FQDN'}' I always like to restart otrs and all dependant services (Mysql & Apache) to make 100% sure all changes apply. ZZZAAuto.pm -- What is this??

Hello Everybody, I am using OTRS-2.02. I have observed the following: Initially when OTRS is installed there is no ZZZAAuto.pm If I click on "SysConfig" in "Admin Area" then a file named ZZZAAuto.pm is created in "/opt/otrs/Kernel/Config/Files/" If you again click on the "SysConfig" link then ZZZAAuto.pm gets reverted back. It holds a lot of configuration stuff. It is very similar to Ticket.pm in content My Doubt: Can I proceed to make configuration changes to this file?? ODBC Support in OTRS 2.x

Hi Guys, I'm missing the ODBC support in the 2.x versions. seen in ./otrs/Kernel/System/DB.pm there is no ODBC entry. If I make this entry, it will crash in the LoadPreferences function. because in the ../otrs/Kernel/System/DB/ODBC.pm the LoadPreference function is missing. I'm also missing the ./otrs/Kernel/System/DB/ODBC.pm in the CVS! Please tell me, if the ODBC support is dead or alive?! thanks Michael ____________ Virus checked by G DATA AntiVirusKit
