OTRS Install Problems

Sorry to be a pest. Trying to install OTRS 2.0.2 on a Red Hat Fedora Core 4 system. I installed it from a rpm package without a problem. When I try http://mysite.com/otrs/installer.pl I get Forbidden You don't have permission to access /otrs/installer.pl on this server I have tried creating an .htaccess file but it did not help. I have checked the apache log files at /var/log/httpd/error_log and it says: client denied by server configuration: /var/www/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/installer.pl I have reviewed otrs.conf at /etc/httpd/conf.d and can not see a problem. SELINUX is disabled and perl is installed with all required modules. Can you help before I go insane? Thanks in advance. Ed

IWhen I try http://mysite.com/otrs/installer.pl I get Forbidden You don't have permission to access /otrs/installer.pl on this server I have tried adding an .htaccess file without success. I do not think my Apache server (httpd) is running perl. How can I check? What are the correct lines in httpd.conf for running perl? Thanks. Ed

Hi All, I have a problem with some mails, wich I can't Pop. Especially, with all mails created with "Incredimail". * When PostMasterPop3.pl want to pop some messages (at least 2 mails) with one created by Incredimail, I've got this message : "Use of uninitialized value in division (/) at ./PostMasterPOP3.pl line 179" Until I move the mail from server, I can't launch PostMasterPop3.pl without force it :" "Notice: PostMasterPOP3.pl is already running (use '-f 1' if you want to start it forced)!" Then, I have to pop all message before I can launch PostMasterPop3.pl without "-f 1" argument. Until I do that, no mails will be pop. After that, I can move a second time the incredimail'mail for pop it alone. In this case. no problem ! I've got problem every time, exactly in these conditions. Below, you can found header of one mail (I replaced the personal data by "* *"). If anyone knows this problem ? FAQ Package

Hello, Is it possible to hide a categorie in the faq for the public and the customer ? I want a categorie only viewable by my agents. Problem with EMail notification !

Hello, I have some trouble whit EMail Notification. I ha ve configured a POP3 account. If i send a message to this POP3 account, le message is sent in the good queue and i my agents receive an email. If a customer create a new ticket, my agents don't receive notification mail ! if an agent edit on close the ticket, my customer receive an email. My only question is why my agents don't receive an email if the ticket is created in the web interface ?? thank's a lot. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Hi all, I seem to be getting the following message and can't seem to be able to get otrs up.
