Adding users to otrs db after ldap auth

Hi folks, We want to set up OTRS such that when a NEW USER logs in first time using some ldap credentials, he/she is automatically added to the OTRS database as a user. Is this possible ? Any pointers on how to do this ? Thanks ! Abhinav -- http://employees.org/~abhinav/blog/

can't login - installation problem

Hi there, I just installed from source the latest otrs version on a debian 4.0 box running PostgreSQL 8.1 and Apache 2.2.x. I followed all the steps, as described, in the documentation and everything worked fine. After I displayed the login page and tried to login I get the following error: ------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------ Error: Can't write /opt/otrs/Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAAuto.pm: Permission denied! I have found that this problem appeared once and there was a patch for solving it: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/dev/2005-October/001152.html The patch is applied to current version of OTRS, but not to MIME/Words.pm (also required for complete solution). Either the patch was not forwarded to MIME perl module developers, or they did not consider the patch resonable. Probably there could be another solution. Maybe headers should be encoded in other way with other functions, or other encoding method could be used (i.e. base64). Are here otrs developers who could bring a light on this problem? Hello, more than 3 years later - I am interested in the ticketing state machine. I am preparing the presentation for the management and need to explain the possible tickets states and transitions between them. I am pretty sure somebody did it already (I am an optimist), can I ask you to share what you've done with the mailing list? upgrade/migration from windows to linux....all went well except faq's don't show up

Hi there... The upgrade/migration went well from the windows to linux....everything works fine except even after activating the faq module, I still cannot see any of the previously created faq's...even though I see them in the database...is there something that I did wrong here?
