OTRS 2.0.4 not generating outisde tickets

There's a script to do it for you, check http://doc.otrs.org/2.2/en/html/x354.html#cronjobs - scroll down to section 3.2.5. -- Lars

The system don't get email from pop3 accounts

Hi I'm working with a new suse 10.2 installation and I'm having some problems: 1.The system don't get mail from pop3 accounts. Although I check the address and there are right ( Use PostMasterPOP3.pl) it don't work. When I checked in this moment read the accounts and load the DB. I thing maybe some problem with cron ?? 2.-Problem with privileges acces to queue's I assign to move and create privileges only form some users in a group and assign this group to the queue. When I connect with the user I cant move to the queue o create tickets ?? Somebody would help me ?? Thanks Antonio

Duplicates tickets ??

Hi, I report this problem some days ago when I was using win32. But the problem arise again under suse 10.2 with otrs 2.2.4 The problem is the system store duplicate ticket (different number with the same description) due to many cliks in create button in phone ticket screen while the system response and send a new screen. Somebody know how could avoid this problem?? Thanks Antonio Antonio

Log problem: "No space left on device" in System::Log

We were running OTRS successfully for quite some time, when we started getting the following error: "Software error: No space left on device at /usr/local/www/secure/otrs/Kernel/System/Log.pm line 93. For help, please send mail to the webmaster (http-admin(a)1fast.us) giving this error message and the time and date of the error." No cron jobs will run, nor can we access anything in OTRS without triggering this error. An attempt to provide a new installation of OTRS also failed; the same error message occurs when trying to run installer.pl, or when running anything from the command line. Automatically lock ticket after creation

Hello, I already posted this on the German mailing list but didn´t get an answer that led to a solution. I would like to know what I have to configure so that newly created tickets (via telephone) get locked to the agent automatically (without selecting an agent manually). Though, they should not get locked when the initial status is set to a closed state. OTRS 2.2.3 Lars
