external customer backend with filter

Hi all, I've figured out how to set up an external DB Backend for customer users. It shall just have the function of a kind of address book, these customers shall not be able to login. The external backend also is a MySQL-database on the same mashine. What I'd like to do is filtering the amount of addresses in this address book, let's say there exists a field called "access" in the external database table and public addresses do have the entry "group" or "all", how do I configure otrs to only show those entries with "group" or "all" in the field "access". Which "key" do I use and which value should it have? Something like CustomerUserValidFilter for LDAP-Backends perhaps? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Sincerely

2.3 on MSSQL

I'm trying to get an new install of 2.3 running with a MS SQL 2005 database. I've got the database connections working, and I've run the ms sql scripts to setup the otrs database on the sql server. When I try and login, I'm getting this: Software error: Can't call method "fetchrow_array" on an undefined value at /opt/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../../Kernel/System/DB.pm line 624. Any ideas? Attachement Problem while sending mail

Hi, Mails with attachement other than word document is not coming to OTRS mailbox. mail with screenshot as attachements is not coming to OTRS.If he needs to send the screenshots ,he need to first copy it in word document and then attach the word document and should send.How can i solve this problem?Also mails containing data in table format is also dispalyed in awkward format.Can anyone help me in solving this problem.?

HI, I'm just update my otrs to 2.2.7 and ITSM to 1.1.2 Since this update, the link side-bar don't appear on a linked ticket. Do you know why ? Thanks by advance. How to ignore "Autoreply: I'm on holiday!"

Hi. Is there a prescribed way of ignoring these messages from our customers? When we close a ticket, it often gets reopened by their auto-responders. I only want to ignore them if the ticket is actually closed. -- Lars
