getting error when trying to force install io::socket::ssl

How to make sure mod_perl is used for perl scripts?

Hey Guys, I have installed Mod_Perl for my apache 2 OTRS machine. When I go to Support Assesment, in the bottom it says: Check for CGI Accelerator.You should use FastCGI or mod_perl to increase your performance.Critical So I cheched out my httpd.conf, didnt see any weird stuff to start with. So I added: LoadModule perl_module modules/mod_perl.so, but when I restarted apache it sayd that mod_perl already was loaded. So that wasnt the problem. The weird thing that I saw was : AddHandler cgi-script .pl, it basically says cgi is used for perl scripts?.. So I changed it too AddHandler perl-script.pl and restarted apache. That didnt solve the problem cause now the perlpages are shown in plain text. What am I doing wrong? Kind regards, G.

Articles (File System) in order server.

Hello, It's possible I have a server in the OTRS 2.4.5 and on another server the database (MySql) and Articles on File System? Regarding the database, I've got to work, but the Articles did not. I have already given their permission, but in my tickes attachments are not being displayed. SSHA with OTRS

Hi, I'm trying to setup OTRS with openLDAP as backend. My openLDAP uses SSHA for its password and is it possible to configure OTRS to use SSHA? How do I go about doing that? OTRS on FreeBSD POP3S error.

Hi, I’m using OTRS 2.4.5. I can’t receive email in OTRS. When I try to receive email over POP3S the error stuff “Can’t connect mail server” is displayed and logged. [otrs@otrs /opt/otrs/bin]# ./PostMasterMailbox.pl -d1 -f1 ERROR: OTRS-PMAccount-10 Perl: 5.8.9 OS: freebsd Time: Thu Dec 24 10:31:57 2009 Message: POP3S: Can't connect to [pop3s-mail-server] Traceback (65922): Module: Kernel::System::MailAccount::POP3S::Fetch (v1.10) Line: 113 Module: Kernel::System::MailAccount::MailAccountFetch (v1.9) Line: 380 Module: main::Fetch (v1.10) Line: 181 Module: ./PostMasterMailbox.pl (v1.10) Line: 94 I’ve installed OTRS on FreeBSD 7.2 amd64. I can receive email manually if i directly access the mail server using the following command: openssl s_client -connect pop3s_mail_server:995 How can I receive email on OTRS using POP3S. Kindly advice.

SMTP Woes

Hi all, I'm trying to set up customer notifications with OTRS 2.4.5 on Windows Server 2003 (fully updated). The Domain Controller is on a separate server, and the Exchange 2003 is another separate server. This is probably an issue I'll have to take up with my boss (I'm a lowly college intern), but for some reason SMTP and our Exchange server just refuse to cooperate. But, if I use my GMail credentials and tie it to Google's servers, it works just fine. I would use GMail, but my other boss says that would be a little too kludgy, and would make the town administrators next door upset if they found out (town politics are a mess). checking modules
