Hi everybody I have almost 4 years using OTRS, currently i use the version 2.4.7, and i have a question. Almost six months ago i remember having tried a package for Management Projects, but now i search the package and i can't find. Where is the package? Error on login

Hi, We are using OTRS 2.4 with ITSM 2.0 on Suse Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 3. Every night we run a backup script that shuts down OTRS and start it back. Today we have found following error when trying to log in OTRS: Got no TicketObject! at ../..//Kernel/Output/HTML/NavBarModuleAdmin.pm line 29. I can't find any useful log relating to this error. What does this error relate to? Where should I start looking for solution? ITSM Change Management :: Options to change status of change

Hi, What are the options to change the 'Change Status', which seems to be stuck at 'Requested' despite trying all options for conditions. Have already tried various options mentioned in the blog, documentation does not help to take beyond this stage. Best regards, Ajmal Ahmed Shariff

PDF Printing Images

Problem with attach file in otrs 2.4.9

i am working on OTRS 2.4.9, and right now i'm trying to implement the file attachment.. here's my problem: after I attach a file to a ticket (successfully; because I can see it in Article_Attachment table in the DB) and send it, when I want to check the ticket and download the attached file, the content of the downloaded file is corrupted... for example, if I attach a pdf file, the files is like a clean sheet when I download it... or if I attach an Excel file, I can't check the content of the file and there's message about the file being corrupted. any advice would be appreciated. thx.

To change logo in agent interface

Hi, I'm using otrs 3.0 and would like to know whether we can change "OTRS" logo @ right side corner of agent interface.i couldn't get otrs image in images folder. Also i tried changing productname in config and it only changed logos at browser header,login etc but not OTRS logo @ rightside corner of every page. If somebody have tried this,please let me know Regards Ravi Shankar

issue with stats

Auto-populating the CMDB

Hello all, I'm at the very early stages of planning an OTRS::ITSM deployment and have a question that Google couldn't answer. Is it possible (i.e. has anyone done it and documented it) to populate the CMDB with the results of an automated network scan? The product I had in mind was Spiceworks - the ability to migrate all that lovely detail of machine manufacturer / model number / serial numbers / hardware setup / software installations / BIOS levels / service tags (Dell..) directly into a fresh ITSM installation would be fantastic :) Cheers, Gavin.

LDAP with similar Users

I have a problem to authenticate to my OpenLDAP, because I have users with different ou and same login: cn=jluis,ou=users,ou=example1,dc=gov,dc=fl cn=jluis,ou=users,ou=example2,dc=gov,dc=fl I think I could authenticate users by their e-mails jluis(a)example1.gov.fl jluis(a)example2.gov.fl but I'm trying to make it change to "CustomerLogin.dtl" and does not work, if anyone knows a solution to this I appreciate, thank you very much ...
