Changing the login URL

Hi, I want to be able to logon to otrs by: http://otrs.company.com at the moment I can only logon from http://otrs.company.com/otrs/customer.pl. How do I make that happen? :) I'm quite new in both apache and otrs configuring, so any help would be really appreciated. Thanks. / Andreas

Hi yacc don't go for billies Misery$oft try "dotProject" -> www.freshmeat.net for an open source project management system (apache, php, mysql) quite a piece of work. we use in a productiv env. Custom Postmaster module in OTRS 1.3.1

Is it possible to specify a custom postmaster module within the web interface or does it have to remain in the Config.pm file? Here is what is in my 1.2 Config.pm $Self->{'PostMaster::PreFilterModule'}->{'Custom Postmaster'} = { Module => 'Kernel::System::PostMaster::Filter::Simple', } Thanks, Tyler Hepworth

Aculy sounds very logic.. only need that has to be met in the OTRS system is that the users or in this case Agents have a email-address. user permission problem

Hi, I am trying to create a user which has all the permissions except changing the owner of the tickets in that queue but even I give all the privileges except 'rw' this user can't see that queue and the tickets in it. If I give rw it can see the queue and the tickets but the user can also change the owner of the tickets ofcourse. Is this a bug? smtp for otrs

Hi all, I read chapter 8 of the otrs manual which describes that I should use sendmail or exim with it. I'm using James stmp/pop server mail and would like to know if anyone as any experience with it ? Thanks for your help, Laurent

Config.pm not found in @INC

Moving to queues

Hi, in OTRS 1.2.x we could just select a Queue from the queue popup and the ticket would be instantly moved. In OTRS 1.3.1 we have to additionally press the "Move" button next to it, which seems to me like a waste of time. Is there any way I can modify the templates to get back the previous behaviour? -- Daniel Seifert <dseifert(a)gmx.de>

apache is running, but I cannot access the ticketing interface

I can get to the login page, but when I sign in the queue page shows briefly, then it shows page cannot be displayed. If I catch it in time with [esc] then I can view the page. The customer interface works just fine. I have removed all refresh options, restarted the mysql, mercury and apache servers. But still it shows page cannot be displayed.
