change pop3 account

I have recently upgraded OTRS. Since the upgrade, I am facing a problem. When I try to change/update a Pop3 account, it seems it uses the user name of the logged user no matter which pop3 account I select. Is this as designed or a bug? Can any one comment on it? Thanks in advance. Arun

Error: Action 'Agent' not found!

Receiving Error when I try to create a new ticket in PhoneView....it lets me assign a Customer (LDAP setup) but when I try To assign it to a queue I get an error "Error: Action 'Agent' not found! I also receive a Comment as well "Comment: Perhaps the admin forgot to load "Kernel::Modules::Agent"!" How do I manually load this Kernel::Modules::Agent DelShawn

Upgrade from 1.3 CVS to 1.3.1

Hello OTRS Team, I just upgraded from 1.3 CVS to 1.3.1 While click on Phone Ticket or Email I get the following error: Software error: Modification of non-creatable array value attempted, subscript -1 at ../..//Kernel/Output/HTML/Agent.pm line 432. Querying a SQL database from within OTRS

Hello, I work for a customer support organization that is looking at otrs for a trouble ticketing system. I currently have a SQL database containing all of the customers information and would like to have the agent be able to make queries back to the database from the open ticket screen. For example I would like them to be able to select a customer name from a dropdown list and have all the customer information populated or enter a serial number and have it query the database for customer information. If anyone has experience doing this any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks Chris

Single network only setup?

Hi, I would like to use OTRS only for trouble ticketing on our network, so users could report their problems. What services of OTRS should I stop, mail-server? I just want them to login and fill out form on the website, no emailing. Should I create users in MySQL or customer login page? Thank you Emil

Changing what gets displayed in the ticket overview

OK, I have searched in all the settings but still can't find how to change the message that is displayed in the ticket overview. As it is now OTRS allways displays the last customer message, but I want it to display just the last message, no difference if it is from the customer or from the agent, is that possible ?? cheers -- Michael Bielicki

Hi, Before changing the log size in config.pm, you need to run ../scripts/CleanUp.pl Then change the Conig.pm Restart apache hth -p. admin system log size

Hi, I tried to configure the admin system log size to a value, different than the default one (4x1024). Tested on 1.2.2 and 1.3.1, giving the same error when opening the login window: Software error: Invalid argument at /opt/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../../Kernel/System/Log.pm line 80. What is the reason for that? Is that a possible bug?

Hi, I've installed OTRS on a RedHat ES 3.1 running Apache 2.046 and mod_perl 1.99. I've just included provided configuration file otrs.conf in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf et reload apache.
