I think I can see how this would work for the compose answer reply form but the forward article form doesn't include any address book facilities. Thus I would need to use the compose answer reply form to send requests to my external support desks. Is this what you are suggesting? unable to send email

Hi, i configured OTRS via SMTP relay/smarthost it's working fine except for emailing as a response to a ticket or composing a email manually. The automatic response email works, so I assume sending emails as reply to a ticket would work to but I get the following error : Fout: Can't connect to smtp.office.firstfind.nl: Invalid argument! My OTRS system is really going downhill. Wonder what is going on? Anyway, I cannot log in this morning. When I try I get this... customer view options

Hi I am trying to restrict items that the customer can set and see such as owner, priority, all queues and status. I've managed to remove the right-hand bar from the ticketzoom and also owner and status from customerstatusviewtable.dtl. What I now need to do is to remove the option for customer to set the queue in new message and for it to send to the default queue ie postmaster, is this possible and how? I worked out how to restrict the drop-down to a couple of queues but really need to remove the option all together. Also, I need to remove the option to set the priority in customermessagenew.dtl but when I remove it I get the Error: Need TicketID is ther something else I need to do to get this to work? Hi Guys I've just installed 1.3 beta 4 in anticipation of the bulk facility which we have long been waiting for!! I am using RedHat and MYSQL. Hello, today I had strange situtation - my exagent who's OTRS username is set to invalid, got two follow-ups. Howcome? I don't want to delete username, since I'd delete ticket-owner relations with that too. Please help. P.S. We are still using OTRS v1.1.3 TIA, Alex
