Heyho, is it possible to hide all system autoresponds within a zoomed ticket, if "Ticket::Frontend::ZoomExpand:" is set to "Yes"? Haven't found a config option so far. Bye, Thomas

I’ve recently setup an otrs system on debian, using the apt-get process, everything worked and the system appears functional, however, when a request is sent via email, the ticket is created, however the end user does not receive a notification that a ticket was created nor does the support staff, even though the system log says that the notification was sent, the MTA log (exim) does not have any events for those notifications, when I close the ticket through the web interface the end user receives that notification, the support staff does not Any ideas? I have been trying to get the mail to go to any queue in OTRS to no avail. The test email file worked fine. I want to use procmail to get the emails into the system. Can anyone share their procmail conf file? I thank you in advance for you help. JC Boursiquot

I beleive ZZZAuto.pm is created while doing configurations inside the OTRS web interface. There is always saved a zipy of that file in the same directory, so you should be able to recover using that. NumberGenerator change problem

Hi, I've changet Ticket::Hook to "Request#" and Ticket::NumberGenerator to AutoInc While Hook is applied to all ticket, I noticed that new ticket Number format is only applied to ticket that are created by mails sent to helpdesk address. Ticket created through OTRS web interface (Phone and Email tickets) still have old numbering (Date generator). How to solve this? Thanks Nikola

FranzF, You have misunderstood the question. This has nothing to do with the MySQL user, but the user that is stored in MySQL *THROUGH* OTRS. Hence why this forum is the best shot I have of getting the correct information. Running the server with --old-password is not relevant. My question is what encryption scheme does OTRS use to encrypt the user supplied password, nothing more. Unlike other applications I've come across, OTRS is a bit confusing to figure out which hash algorithm was used when encrypting the user's password. Marco Geweke, I tried your method, but it did not work. For one thing, there is no crypt() function in MySQL. I tried encrypt, and decrypt, but it did not work.
