Hi Patrick , I tried that but the Sub Queue does not show in the dropdown list of Queues. To explain , I create a main queue called VPL. Under that queue I created a Sub Queue called Help. Under the Help queue I have created another Sub Queue called Management Follow Up. Now if I want to create another queue UNDER the Management Follow Up queue called Finance. So the queue list will look as follows : VPL::Help::Management Follow Up::Finance I can only see the Help queue in the drop down list when creating a new Queue. Backup on Windows

Hi, this might seem a bit naive, but we work with OTRS 2.0.4 on a Win2003 Server. We have a different win2003 server as our DC and IIS. I have 2 queries, any help would be greatly appriciated 1. How do we backup / restore OTRS on windows. I need to backup all tickets, and also the configuration settings 2. Has anyone tried using OTRS on a box that also runs IIS. OTRS Stress Tests

Is there a site for OTRS stress tests? I was unable to find it after much Googling. We're trying to find the right solution for up to 20 simultaneous agents and around 6,000-8,000 tickets per day. We can build as much of a server as this needs but would like to high instead of low. Thanks! --DRG

Hello, I've installed OTRS local on my pc and on a server (Windows 2003 server). How can I connect to the MYSQL database on the server with MySqlmanager? Connecting to the locally MySQL database (on the pc) is no problem, but I cann't connect to the server... IPC problem ?

Hello. I have installed a OTRS with apt-get install on Debian Sarge, but I have a problem: "Invalid argument at /usr/share/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../../Kernel/System/Log.pm line 156." when i'm login. Hello all, I am trying to modify AgentTicketPhoneNew.dtl. Basically, I am trying to change the "owner" field to automatically display owners, rather than have the user click the "all" link to the right. I.e. I want the page to display automatically as if the user had already clicked on "all". Hi All, When I configured OTRS for 'utf-8' support and use some Cyrillian characters in creating a new ticket I got an error saying: "Wide character in syswrite at C:/OTRS/Perl/lib/Net/Cmd.pm line 436." But the system still creates the ticket.. What is wrong, what did I do wrong? I hope someone can help me? Hi All, I have an important question: I wanted to learn if there is someone who configured OTRS so that it works fine without providing an email address for a customer. Since it is possible that there are end users without email addresses (We are an old company :pp ), and agents can create tickets according to phone calls and close them by phone calls.. Cron jobs for otrs user does not start

Hello, I have set the crontab for the otrs user. When I type "crontab -l -u otrs' I can see all the entries like on page 31 of the "OTRS 2.0 Admin Manual". The problem is that it seems that this crontab is never executed; I must launch "/opt/otrs/bin/PostMasterPOP3.pl" manually in order to have teh new emails comming in OTRS system. This line */10 * * * * $HOME/bin/PostMasterPOP3.pl >> /dev/null exists in the crontab. I don't see were the problem could be. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance. Alina.
