OTRS 2.0.4 performance (update)

Just thought I'd follow up on my earlier posting regarding performance... I moved my OTRS 2.0.4 installation to a new server. I provisioned a VMWare virtual server and put in CentOS4 and the v2.0.4 RPM on it. In order to keep the installation as clean as possible I did a fresh install of 2.0.4 and then just restored the database from my old server to the new one. I do have to say the performance now that mod_perl is working is MUCH improved although this is also due in some part to the fact that this VM host server is a much heartier machine than the old dedicated box we had OTRS running on. All seems to be running well although I had lost some of my custom config settings in the transition. Nothing major and I'm happier to have a clean/fresh install from which to work/upgrade going forward. Cannot login after fresh install!

Hi all, My first post here! Situation: ------------- Fedora Core 5 OTRS 2.1.1 MySQL Apache I have followed all theese steps to install it on FC: * download 2.1.1 from Redhat * Install it * start apache and mysql (in mysql I did only this step: sudo /usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password mypassword * start otrs * go to my login page http://myipadress/otrs/index.pl and I am at a loss to understand what user to type in. I have tried root/password otrs/password btu it doesn't help any ideas? Costumize customer frontend

Calendar for OTRS 2.1.1

Hi guys, Is there a calendar opm package available for OTRS 2.1.1 ? I have not had any luck finding one, every package I have found has been for the incorrect framework, and given me "Error: Sorry, can't install package, because package is not for your Framework!!" The online repository only shows me the FAQ package, which I already have installed. Thanks in advance! Patric

Hi, does anybody of you have experience with bin/UnitTest.pl available in v2.1.1 (perhaps be careful with use in your productive otrs-installation?) I think my OTRS-installation works fine, but just 40% of the steps done return TestOK. Bye, Alex
