The OTRS Team is pleased to announce the release of OTRS 2.0 Beta 2.
This is the second "beta" version of the new OTRS 2.0.
Changes:

o fixed bug 719 - Timezone setting (US EDT -4) causes "Session Timeout"
o fixed bug 686 - defect attachments on download with firefox
o fixed bug 647 - Allow setting of default language for FAQs
o fixed language translation files
o fixed bug 734 - Timezone not reflected in DB Tables (ticket create
time, etc.)
o fixed bug 730 - Problem with FAQ navigation bar
o fixed bug 729 - Problem removing example FAQ-entry from FAQ
o fixed bug 733 - Postgres: TicketOverview doesn't work in April
o fixed bug 737 - cannot add FAQ categories in 2.0 beta1
o fixed bug 644 - GenericAgent module calls should not keep the error
msg secret :-) , moved to Kernel::System::Main
o updated fr translation updated by Yann Richard - thanks!

Good morning,
Between 23/05/2005 and 25/05/2005 at Linux-Hotel again takes place a
German OTRS advanced training. I would like to tell it in this round,
because I think not all people have notice it bevor.
Here you have the chance to expert all about OTRS in a small group.
The advanced training extend 3 days and who now the Linux Hotel, says
that is a lovely place.:)
advanced training themes:

- Spezial config options and how can I use it.
- Aim and accomplish backup- and restore procedures.
- Customize the OTRS webinterfaces.
Generate own webforms for customer ticket interface.

The Codename of the new OTRS 2.0 release is "Klong Jark Beach".
Klong Jark Beach is a heavenly beach in the north of the small island
Koh Lanta (Thailand).
OTRS 2.0 is a trouble ticket system with many new features to manage
both customer and employee enquiries. OTRS 2.0 helps you to manage your
support, sales, pre-sales, billing, internal IT, helpdesk, etc.
departments to react quickly to inbound inquiries via a userfriendly
webinterface.
