Hi Tilman, Like you, i used the same steps : First export a template dataset (to verify data and formats) and next import my CSV-File. This is working ok!!. I have valid data on my Config Items. My problem starts when i try to find out some register on this data. The search tool (on Config Item screen) returns nothing!! (like if no CIs were find out on my system). Hi, I always export a template dataset the first time before importing contents to itsm. Then I use this template csv-file for pasting in my contents (ci's). Afterwards I use this file for the import process. In my case this is working quite fine. Regards, Tilman

Hi, Im using OTRS::ITSM 1.2.2, and i think is a great tool. Ihave a problem searching Config Items : previously i imported a CSV file with my CIs. This part worked OK!. The problem happen when i try search inside this Category....no CIs are displayed....The data is there but i cant find nothing!. Any Idea?. Regards, José.

Adding attribute with unique content

Hello, I need to add an attribute to all items. I know how to do this, but in my case the content entered within this attribute needs to be unique. For example: If I enter a text like “testingpurpose” to this attribute, “testingpurpose” should not be allowed to be entered in any other item in this attribute (similar to the unique number given to each item upon creation). Make attribute in ConfigItem unchangeable / read-only

Hello, I would like to make an attribute in a Config Item unchangeable, so that an agent can not change it after creating the CI. Is there a parameter to achieve this, i.e. for the following element: { Key => 'ReadOnlyFeld', Name => 'Read Only Field', Searchable => 1, Input => { Type => 'Text', Size => 20, MaxLength => 20, Required => 1, }, }, I think about a parameter like "ReadOnly => 1". Where do I have to browse/edit the source code? Or has anyone already made a modification like this? Hello all! This is my first email, I am a new otsm user. I have installed a ubuntu server 8.10 and later otrs2 package, 2.2.7 version. Till now no problem; otrs is installed OK, I can access via web browser. But we want install itsm functionalities. When I try install GeneralCatalog-1.1.3.opm from Package Manager <http://172.17.1.21/otrs/index.pl?Action=AdminPackageManager&Session=101a80b…>, this error appears: Can't locate XML/Parser/Lite.pm in @INC (@INC contains: ../../ /usr/share/otrs/Kernel/cpan-lib /usr/share/otrs/ /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.0 /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.10 /usr/share/perl/5.10 /usr/local/lib/site_perl . /etc/apache2 /usr/sbin/../.. /usr/sbin/../../Kernel/cpan-lib) at /usr/share/otrs//Kernel/System/XML.pm line 1073, <fh00001GeneralCatalog-1.1.3.opm> line 91. I installed the package libxml-parser-lite-tree-perl and now comes this error: not properly closed tag 'File' I have sought information on the internet but I have not managed to find the problem. Can someone help me? Thank you in advance!
